Ever since walking in the Scottish hills as a child I have enjoyed taking photographs and drawing but my creativity has evolved over the last few years into a professional practice. Working mainly in watercolour, I also enjoy sketching and have explored using inks and other mediums.
My love of the natural world and a deep connection with animals inspires and informs my art, keeping me grounded and in the present moment. Often I lose track of time as I immerse myself in the joy of my surroundings, and it is through my art that I hope to share a sense of this with others. I create paintings and art in a variety of ways and have a number of my quirky designs on greeting cards, prints, large canvas prints, cushions, tea towels, coasters and fine bone china mugs and milk jugs. I am also available to take commissions on request and particularly enjoy painting pet portraits.
